Next up in the DIY series after the rocking horse and the bow, is the birdhouse.

Both my parents and parents-in-law have a bird feeder in their backyard that can be seen from their kitchen window. I've only noticed how relaxing it is to watch birds perch themselves on the feeder as they eat away the seeds. Squirrels will often come by too and pick up the scraps on the ground. Ever see a squirrel walk instead of run? It's really the strangest and funniest thing I've seen. When it comes time to move into a house, I hope to find a birdhouse or coax someone into building one for me just like this one.
