a colorful new year

Thanks to those who suggested what the last colour should be for the multi-colour print of the 2010 card. I finally settled on a yellow in keeping with the Raindrops on Roses card. The yellow is a bit unexpected, yet, plays so well with the others. Only 11 have been printed and will be available at the City of Craft show.

From the Wiki: The wintertime imagery of some of the lyrics has made "My Favorite Things" a popular song during the Christmas season, and it often appears on holiday-themed albums and compilations, although in the show and movie it is sung during a summer thunderstorm.

It's a nice break from the traditional red + green combo and still quite merry.

It's officially the holiday season! Here to ring it in is one of snap & tumble's holiday cards for 2009. I've recently been inspired by my type collection and wanted to showcase them. In muted, simple colour combinations - this card makes me want to break out the hot cocoa and start wrapping gifts.
