Last weekend I visited the Salvage Shop located in the east end of Toronto, near my neighbourhood in Scarborough. It's quite a large shop that houses lots and lots of great antique wares and fixtures. I did happen to find a couple of letterpress furniture racks but they were on hold for another store that plans to use them for display purposes. Bah! Also came across a bunch of orphaned wood type that sell for $10-$30 a piece. I didn't make any purchases but had a grand time browsing the shop. The powder blue high desk caught my eye, but sadly, I have no room for it. If you get a chance to see this shop, I highly recommend it!
