Tracey M. from Whitby, Ontario was the recipient of one of The Wedding Co.'s Etsy Handmade giveaway back in January. She won the set of snap & tumble thank you cards and kindly wrote a few words to Catherine Lash about them, who then forwarded the note onto me:

Hello Catherine,
I wanted to thank the Wedding Co. for my prize. The thank you notes were absolutely gorgeous.

From the fine paper quality to the detail of design to the little touches (such as being wrapped with string), the prize was gorgeous. It meant a lot to receive it. They will be well used and treasured, I am sure.

Thank you as well for mailing it to Whitby!

Cheers,
Tracey
Sometimes I wonder if my packaging should have a little more...umph. And when I try it out, I always end up stripping it down and making it simple. The string for this particular package is vintage silk thread I picked up at an antique market. Silvery-grey thread, tissue paper and a bit of washi tape for a hit of colour.

Thank you Tracey, enjoy your new stationery!

This is elegance at it's finest. Simple is the best in my book.

i think simple is always best as well..it makes the stationery be the hero! Anything too crazy and sometimes it ruins it, ya know?
I love all your packaging! it's always so inspiring Tanya!
