the minikin

On one of my thrift store trips, I found a vintage atlas. The spine was damaged but some of the signatures were still intact. I took some of the pages out and used them to make small simple envelopes. From there I was inspired to print flat notecards (7.5 x 9.5 cm) to go along with the covers. Only 20 of these will make their debut at the City of Craft show in December.

I wonder what will become of these when they leave the snap & tumble nest. Will they become gift cards? Love notes? A quick hello? Miniature literature?

Sandi - the show is Dec 12 and 13!

Victoria - I couldn't just let the atlas sit in the thrift store bin - had to re-use the pretty pages!

Celine - sometimes the envelope takes a back seat to the paper/cardstock - but not this time!
