I finally took the bare and unused corkboard that was sitting in the studio and covered it with fabric. Ever have those keepsakes that you want to look at everyday but have no place to put it or risk becoming a clutter-bug? Worse yet, you don't want to stick a push pin through your favorite postcard so you just put in in a box? Well, a couple of folds of fabric, quick stitches and a staple gun and you end up with some pockets. Nothing new, but still fantastic. Here are just a few of my favorite pieces of inspiration.
The curious cowboy dressed in a pair of flower print pants, I found in a thrift store. Above him it reads, "My dress is a beautiful handkerchief". What's better than Japanese made cards? Vintage ones! Attached to it I clipped a blank retro Rolodex card - loving the pinstripes. An old world map of Italy - I still miss it.
Also on the board, a Joseph + Jaime promo mailer; black heart letterpress tags; watercolour business card; Lovely Design index card letterpress printed with a vintage woodblock cut; a feather I picked up at the beach over the summer and more letterpress printed tags, LOVE.
I finally have a space for the things I'm loving at the moment. With the amount of stuff I collect, I might need a few more boards just like this one.

super sweet!
This reminds me, I have to make one of these for my husband. He wants one!
That board is a great idea. Very useful - especially on my cluttered desk!
Beautiful photos as well.
I'm glad I stumbled onto your blog!
