I mentioned in a previous post that I haven't found my style yet. But I am beginning to notice the colours I gravitate towards. Earthy, muted, saturated. You won't find much in the way of bright colours in my work. Maybe a hit of colour here and there, but it certainly won't overtake the print. I wonder if that's a set-back?Wednesday 28 November 2007

I mentioned in a previous post that I haven't found my style yet. But I am beginning to notice the colours I gravitate towards. Earthy, muted, saturated. You won't find much in the way of bright colours in my work. Maybe a hit of colour here and there, but it certainly won't overtake the print. I wonder if that's a set-back?

Nooo, stick to it, earthy neutrals are gorgeous and picked out with a smaller brighter colour it looks so stylish - I do not like primary colours much, and over the years have made my palette (in everything) in tertiaries - you need to do what you like and what you think works - and this is lovely; simple and chic and not overflowing with sickly seasonal frou-frou. :)
