Last Friday I was joined by two super talented ladies in the Tabletop Letterpress Workshop. Shelley and Julia felt right at home with the press and it was nice to see such good friends making an afternoon of letterpress printing. You may have already heard about the new online magazine Covet Garden that "...takes a peek into the homes of the city's most interesting people." The first two issues of the magazine feature Julia and Shelley! I had seen the magazine make the blog rounds but didn't realize it was the very same duo coming to my workshop. What a treat to be able to pick their brains and talk about their creative endeavours. Watch out for Shelley's clothing line for children (you can see her daughter's handmade dress on page 3 of issue II) and check out Julia's beautiful illustration portfolio.
