letterpress printed birthday invitations for elle

When Elle's dad sent me an email about printing invitations for his daughter's first birthday, I jumped at the chance. Everything about his design was hard to resist: the cute cupcake, sweet border, colour combo and playful fonts. And how about that "Noon till Naptime" bit? Adorbs.

Awww! That's cute without being totally overboard.

Do you often print other people's designs?

Love the purple!
How were you able to have the outside border so even? I find it hard to create outside borders on my tabletop. Did you break up the plate?

Chantel I: It's not often that I print other people's design, but I certainly welcome the opportunity.

alexandria: thank you!

Laura: great question! The border was a huge concern of mine when I saw the design. I found that dampening the cardstock before printing helped.

Ah, that's great to hear that it is possible!
