It's been a (good) busy couple of weeks with printing custom stationery. Above are sneak peeks of the studio, hand-scored cards, and hand-mixed ink for a newlywed's thank-you cards. I'm slowly warming up to colourways that include red. It's not my go-to colour but when it's requested I actually can't wait to see how the prints come out. More photos to follow after the cards have been delivered to my clients!

Oh! How I love photos of mixed paint!

I even bought a set of Pantone colour formulas, just so I could look at all the pretty colours. I need to find myself some kind of job that solely involves choosing colours all day long. That would be so much fun.

Chantel I: I'm so glad you like the photos I post of mixed paint. I'm building up quite a collection and hope to put them all together for year's end :)

Funny, I mixed my christmas-red today! Also orange and pink. What a red-day here and there :D

That would be so cool, Tanya! I'd love to see the rainbow of colours you've worked with other the year. Like a yearly retrospective in colour.

So, this isn't exactly along the same lines, but I found this video (via Kottke) about how printing ink is created. Such beautiful colours!
