letter love fridays

How's everyone's Friday so far? I'm just waiting on a couple of participants for the Letterpress Curiosity Workshop today and after that I'm off to the post office for some deliveries. Saturday is another workshop and crossing fingers for a good morning of sunshine for prime ink-mixing light! Sunday is a meeting with a lovely bride to go over details for her special letterpress workshop. She and her groom will be printing their own wedding stationery! If you or someone you know is looking to do the same, contact me for details.

If you follow me on Twitter, you've already heard that I got a new press. Above are some shots of my play time with the new addition to the press family. Update on that to follow!

Hope your weekend is filled with crafty goodness!

Amanda - all will be revealed soon :)

Daniella - I've sent you an email!

Comfortably Lovely - thank you!

Fipep – Your comment isn’t relevant to the post, however, I’ll address your concerns since you seem to have misread the situation.

You didn’t specify what bookhou workshop that I’m allegedly copying. If it’s the silkscreening workshops, you’ll be happy to know that I don’t offer those. And, it certainly couldn’t be the letterpress workshops because bookhou started them up shortly after the owner attended the snap & tumble Letterpress Curiosity Workshop.

If you are referring to their DIY Bride workshop be rest assured. The owner of bookhou and I have already exchanged thoughts on that. She admits that my post responding to a workshop participant on sessions for the newly engaged is just a case of “bad timing”, not one of imitation.

Hope that clears things up for you and thanks for following the snap & tumble blog.
