When I cut paper to size, I stash away the offcuts. I just can't bear to throw them out. Some of the pieces are so small or narrow that you'd think they're destined for the trash. But no such thing happens in the snap & tumble studio.
I had the urge to print today and thought of a way to use the narrow strips of offcuts. They were the perfect size for my 18pt metal typeface. Some of you will be creating your own special gifts this holiday instead of shopping at the big box stores. These offcuts have been turned into letterpress printed tags for your very own goods. "Homemade" for the strawberry jam or sugarcookies you'll be sharing. "Handsewn" for the coin purse or quilt you'll be gifting. And "Handmade" for the all the other one-of-a-kind presents you'll be making. The tags are approximately 1cm x 7.5 cm and are blind debossed to match your homemade packaging. Pick up a bundle of 5 at the City of Craft.

What a great idea! I especially love the colored string you used too.
they are beautiful! I have been thinking of making tags myself for my handmade christmas presents. Then people know they are made with love! Can't wait to see your booth at City of Craft!
