TGIF. Although, it really doesn't make that much of a difference since I'm a stay-at-home mom for the time being. But it feels good to say it anyway.

I'm having a little quiet celebration because Marcus slept for 4 hours at a time last night. From 9:30pm-1:30am and then from 2am-6am. Someone give me a high-five! He's got a big yawn in that photo. Let me preface this post by saying that I'm dead tired (Marcus is an angel that keeps things quite interesting in the early morning hours). But not having posted anything in a while that was letterpress or diy-related was starting to bug me. So, here I am still sleepy, but happy to report back with a simple (baby) project! *

How did he get to be so big so fast? Cheeky monkey, my little one is.

Yesterday he had his frenulum snipped. A bit of a traumatic experience, more for me than the babe. But all is well now and he's feeding quite contentedly.

In lieu of printing projects, I've been posting photos of Marcus. Hope that's okay with my regular letterpress-enthusiast readers :)

Marcus caught the bug last week and passed it onto Chris and I. The past couple of nights have been harrowing, to say the least. It's our first time as a family being sick together :)
Sleep. That is now a top priority for me. But, oh, the waking hours with this munchkin are so precious.

There will be plenty of family visits in the next coming days. We're looking forward to introducing our little munchkin to his relatives.

These were designed and printed for Ingrid to send out to her friends and clients for the holidays. Sometimes I think that I should just print every project in black ink. I have a weakness for those old, vintage thin pieces of wrapping paper. I found these a while ago at the thrift store and couldn't help but grab the whole lot. They're so bright and colourful and so different from what you see in wrapping papers nowadays. It took me a while to do anything with them but I decided to cut a few and make some envelopes for some letterpress printed stationery.

Here's our little one at 20 weeks! The munchkin had it's legs too tightly closed so we couldn't tell if it's a boy or a girl. But even before the anatomy ultrasound, a few friends and family have (independently) said that they think we're having a girl. These guesses are based on old wives tales and just pure gut feelings. I'll be happy either way as long as baby is happy and healthy!

Boy, have I been missing in action. I hope to post some news on that soon. In the mean time, a few good things of late:

1. Back to printing the origami series for The Paper Place.
2. Rhya's envelope dioramas. My little darling pack of wolves bring me so much joy.
3. The Official Gay Card site has launched. Check it, and pass it along! Here are the details.
4. With all of the shopping opportunities in London (Harrod's, Hamley's, Burberry's, Top Shop etc.) I only went into one store, Muji. I got all kinds of crazy when I found their stationery section. And it doesn't surprise me at all that the only thing I bought from my trip was this natural wooden pencil. It's light and kind of sexy, right?
